' It was funny and cute, and captures the holiday spirit, and a lot of aspects of life, much better than other books. A very enjoyable, entertaining Christmas story. I laughed so hard I almost cried more than once. ' Great Christmas book! For anyone who grew up in the early 1960's, this will be a funny trip into the past. The book was filled with pictures that took me back to that period of time, like what the Christmas tree's looked like, what presents were popular, what movies were out and how people lived and acted during that time. I especially liked it because it took place in 1960. So if you like Christmas stories and dogs, you will love this little book. This was just a small little book that only took me an hour to read.
